SSJ Info
- Super Saiyan 1(SSJ)
Must be triggered by something emotional, usually anger. Exceptions are Chibi Trunks and Goten. Power Level greatly increases along with speed and agility. Hair turns gold and becomes more rigid and stands up
- Beyond Super Saiyan -or- Ultra Super Saiyan(USSJ)
This is a stage between Super Saiyan 1 and 2. The Saiyan's muscles bulge and and overall power level increase is present. Hair stays the same as SSJ but grows a little bit longer. Goku was the first one to discover this, but not the first to actually go USSJ
- Super Saiyan 2(SSJ2)
Doesn't have to be caused by anger. The first person to reach this stage was Gohan when he was training in the Room of Spirit and Time(not when fighting Cell). Speed and power level increase even more than that of SSJ. Hair turns gold and all goes back, with the exception of one strand of hair in the front
- Super Saiyan 3(SSJ3)
Not caused by anger. Goku is the only one who has reached this level. A SSJ3's hair grows really long down the back. There is a loss of all facial hair while in this phase of Super Saiyan. Speed and power level are even higher than that of a SSJ2. This is the strongest level of Super Saiyan in the the manga
- Super Saiyan 4(SSJ4)
The ultimate stage of Super Saiyan, this form is only attainable by first going into Golden Oozaru. A SSJ4's body is mainly covered in hair(except for the chest muscles). The hair also turns jet black and becomes more like normal, but longer. Also, a tail must be present for this stage to happen. The SSJ4's power level is at their max, along with their speed and agility
